I picked this up to have a sturdy and reliable time piece I could use while exercising, working around the house or in the yard, or any other situation where I could use a sturdy wrist watch. The watch is very sturdy, and has a lot of nice features. It does not have a sweep second hand, instead relying on some of the LCD windows on the screen to tick off seconds. Setting the analog time is a bit cumbersome, but the rest of the watch’s features are easily accessed and adjustable in much the same manner of nearly every other Casio watch.

Casio Men’s AW590-1A G-Shock Ana-Digi Chronograph Sport Watch Overview

This Casio men’s watch features a dual display that has both the elegance of an analog watch and the functionality of a digital one. The stainless steel case has a protective silver-tone metal bezel. A red hours hand and a white minutes hand sweep around a black dial that has dashes for indexes while containing a digital display that allows for five daily alarms, a countdown timer, stopwatch, auto LED light, a calendar pre-programmed until 2099, and world time functionality with 29 time zones. A black resin band secures the watch to the wrist. The watch is water resistant to 660 feet (200 meters).

As an old G-shock user, this watch satisfies my expectations. G-shock watchs life can last, i think, through all your life. Just one thing you had to do is, change its battery and band. And band is somewhat expensive. Nearly . I wish this watch had a little bigger dial. Quality, material and the rest is precious.

Love this watch, it has all the features that you could possibly want and more. I had no problems with the ordering process or delivery and for the price this watch is a great value. I had looked at several different types of G-SHOCK watches in local stores and they were all .00 or more. I am very happy I made this purchase, great watch, perfect size for me (ladies not to big, works great for me). No complaints!

alarm function a joke – Gary M. Burris –
The face is a little “busy” but I expected that with the G-Shock. What is most disappointing is the alarm function – it certainly can’t be counted on to wake you up in the morning – it is very quiet. After I received the watch I called Casio customer service and inquired as to why this alarm is so much more quiet than two of my older casio watches. I was told it must be a battery problem because casio has not reduced the volume. So I returned the watch to Amazon and received a replacement – same near silent alarm on this one as well.
Do not recommend this watch if the alarm function is important to you. Otherwise, watch is ok.

This watch is an excellent cost/benefit relation. Very easy to operate and useful features. It is not as big as it looks in the photo. It combines the style of the analogic watch with the features of a digital watch. The only improvement to be made is the light: it is not enough to see the digital displays (an indigo light would be much better). But it is nothing that would make me change my mind, it is an excellent watch and I recommend it to people who want a beautiful, useful and sturdy sport watch.
